Can’t find a way to Art! Vancouver but still want to be involved with Vancouver’s first international art fair? Well, Artists in Canada has an answer for you!
Artists in Canada, if you didn’t already know, is a free-to-use Canadian artist, art gallery, and art resource directory. Created in 2000 to better expose Canadian artists and art galleries to the general public, the website has also provide a platform and resource to communicate with potential art patrons, art galleries, and curators. Artists in Canada has grown to develop into one of the most popular art directories in Canada, and has become a major art marketing tool for many within the Canadian art scene.
Artists in Canada will be at Art! Vancouver 2015, and after hearing about their “Get on the Bus!” campaign, they will surely have a booth that will be spectacular.
Recently I had the chance to talk to Paul Constable, director of Artists in Canada (or AIC), about “Get on the Bus!”
Paul – “As a national website we at Artists in Canada have Canadian artist members from across Canada. Not everyone can make it to Art! Vancouver 2015, so AIC decided we would take our Premium artist members to the show with us. This is a great opportunity for these artists from across Canada to gain exposure in a Vancouver market. Through a juried process we will select the premium artists and represent them at our booth.
Just think! You will be visible to the thousands of art buyers in an International market setting in downtown Vancouver, right at the Artists in Canada booth where we will present your art on your behalf.”
Sounds great, right!
Paul – “If you are not an Artists in Canada Premium Member, you can still apply. Your work will need to be juried to ensure a high standard of quality and I will personally discuss this with you. The sooner you upgrade or join we can implement all the other advantages of this membership, which includes increased exposure through a featured title banner, an image enhanced listing, year round mini ads and more on AIC.”
