Stefan Rogenmoser

Stefan Rogenmoser, artist

Born in Switzerland in 1968, he is the second son of Hans and Margritt Rogenmoser. At an early age, Stefan was already into drafting and sculpting. His parents, especially his father Hans, encouraged Stefan in his hobby.

At the age of 16, Stefan started an apprenticeship as a tool and die maker which he successfully finished in 1988.

Shortly after Stefan finished his apprenticeship, he went through the mandatory military duty, and then began traveling the World. His first trip was to Australia where he learned a bit of English. In 1990 he made his first trip to Canada, where he had always dreamed of living. In 1991, Stefan finally left his parents home in Switzerland and started his own business, The Stefan Rogenmoser Design Office. He designed and compiled progressive tools and dies. In 1994, he became a landed immigrant to Canada.

Since then Stefan has been making sculptures, carvings, jewelery, knives, furniture, wall art, fully functional guns and rifles and just about anything which comes to his mind and which fulfills the desire of his customers. The materials are carefully selected to suit each unique project and to ensure that the final product is of the finest quality.
